Just saw DEAD OUTLAW. Loved it. The kind of show that inspires you to write something just as good. Proves once again that David Yazbek (here working w/ Erik Della Penna & Itamar Moses) is a special talent. It's closing soon, but whatever its future, look out for it.

To those now following me because they think I actually wrote a Gatsby musical: I am truly sorry, it was a joke, and you can unfollow me and I won't think less of you. BUT...if a musical with that cast excites you, there's a TV show I can recommend...

Just saw Brooklyn Laundry at MTC with Cecily, who was fantastic. And the play was wonderful. Lots of laughs and tears. It closes in a week so see it if you can!

Cop Rock has gotten a lot of (deserved) flack over the years, but this song, 'More Than Enough,' sung LIVE by the sublime Kathleen Wilhoite, is just wonderful. Anyone else remember this?

I just watched MUSICA, the brainchild of Rudy Mancuso, and it was absolutely wonderful. Loved every second. If you are looking for a smart, funny, touching romantic comedy, look no further (it's on Prime).

Currently preparing a TV pitch, preparing a feature pitch, trying to get 3 feature scripts moving forward, trying to get 2 stage musicals moving forward, and thinking about a new stage musical to write. In other words, IT IS TOUGH OUT THERE and hustling is a must.
