Today, Crew 30 members participated in helicopter training to start their journey in becoming helicopter crewmembers (HECM). Crew 30 members learned how to perform helicopter external load operations. Thanks to JL Aviation for the partnership!

The fire at Timberline Lodge was declared under control at 11:12 p.m. The fire was kept to the roof & part of the attic, & didn’t spread any further. Crews are clearing the scene. The U.S. Forest Service will be conducting the investigation with the help of federal resources.

Firefighters are on-scene of a 3-alarm commercial fire at the historic Timberline Lodge. Crews are working to extinguish the fire. No injuries reported.

During National Public Safety Telecommunicators Week, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to the dedicated dispatchers who work behind the scenes to answer emergency calls, provide critical info, & support our first responders. Thank you for everything you do each & everyday!

On 4/10/24, E315 was first to arrive to a water rescue at Meldrum Bar Park. Thanks to the levy, the increase in firefighter staffing saved a life! From the time firefighters from E315 arrived and pulled the victim from the water was three minutes.
