I have never quite understood the logic of someone saying 'I pay your wages' to the likes of police officers or nurses etc?

If I pay tax and you pay tax how can you say your tax is paying my wages? Is my wages paying yours?

- There's confusion about his plea

Suella Braverman travelled by Chinook helicopter on her way to the Manston asylum processing centre this afternoon.

She was in Dover before that, so about 20 miles away.

It is unclear why the Chinook was used.

Totally absurd. Maybe she is afraid to meet actual Kent residents sick and tired of useless MPs who have allowed uncontrolled migration and continue to ignore a humanitarian crisis for political expediency.
