• Raised concerns in Month 1
• Conducted an internal review
• Flagged it to bosses repeatedly

NHS Management:

• Ignored them
• Made them apologise
• Threatened them with the GMC
• Offered her a new job + a funded Masters

We need to listen.

Overnight I introduced “the pause” to remember the life a person lived and the people they leave behind. It fitted quite nicely into our debrief and it was lovely to have our paramedics, orderlies and entire team there to experience. All positive feedback so far!
