The paper looks at the experience of Julie Inman Grant, who received an onslaught of online abuse and credible threats for doing the job the Online Safety Act empowers her to do. It shows that TFGBV affects everyone, from women in public service to young girls just getting online. 3/
Julie Inman Grant It explores the global legal frameworks that attempt to mitigate this issue. Most are not fit for purpose, and leave women without protection and without justice when they are abused, harassed, and threatened. We make some recommendations for laws that are urgently needed. /end
