Revellers yesterday greeted the arrival of the Autumn Equinox, viewed here from the Royal George observation platform. Since 1922 when the Stack ctte formally rejected the Gregorian Calendar, the Stack has operated 3 days behind the rest of the world (2 days ahead of Gretton).
