Bottom line: rich countries pretend to be in favour of fair & open markets, devlopment for all etc. but in practice the way financial markets are organized & regulated leads to an enormous income transfer from global South to global North, year after year & growing over time

The first substantive session, guiding on terms of reference for a UN framework convention on international tax cooperation (UNFCITC) will run from 26 April - 8 May. The session will allow countries to inform the provisional work of the Ad Hoc Committee on the terms of reference.
