With many people getting COVID from the summer surge, a reminder that the CDC's isolation guidelines are inadequate. It's best to isolate until you test negative on multiple tests. If you can't stay home the whole time, wear an N95 mask to stop the virus spreading to others.

2/ Left unchecked, we expect PE acquisitions in healthcare to exacerbate costs & worsen health outcomes by depriving these essential services of the capital needed to serve their main function: to provide healthcare;

3/ Healthcare investments could be stabilized and re-localized (with knock-on benefits to local economies and upstream determinants of health) by curbing PE’s role in the sector & expanding investments into the public provision of care;

4/ Financial geographers can help further explain and understand the impact of private market activities on healthcare, an issue of importance to all communities.
