From ‘93-95 I began shooting for my NYU doc class. Last summer I pulled that footage out of storage. “It Was All a Dream” is feature documentary, a visual memoir, my largely verite archive from the dawn of hip hop’s golden era. It debuts at Tribeca this June. Tix on sale 4/30
