trying out lex - wrote the top half myself very fast (20 minutes) and then had AI generate the part in yellow.

it generated an interesting structure. I found the language a little boring but i was able to generate this blue part as a second draft. (another 20 minutes)

The last time I was so hyped to use a new tool was Siri...excited to start playing around with Lex.page (Word processor that uses GPT-3)...big props to Nathan Baschez 📧 Dan Shipper 📧

I wrote the first two paragraphs.

AI wrote the rest.

I tried out a new AI writing tool called LEX by Every 📧.

LEX completes your content based on what you have already written. It solves writer's block.

I nudged LEX to complete a para from my newsletter and compared it to what I had originally written

tried it. exceeded expectations. easier/more my workflow than copy.ai. comparable to github copilot but for writing.

okay I got access to Lex from Every 📧

this thing is brilliant

I don't think we're at risk of making writers redundant yet, aside from perhaps low end content farms

but it seems to be a great tool for 'creative unblocking' that's just baked into the writing environment
