Great news for Itchen Sixth Form College that works can now start on new teaching facilities, making things better for students and staff alike 👍🏼
A big shout out to The Labour Party candidates who lost their seats/position and those candidates who weren’t one of the Labour gains
Not winning in elections when you see so many colleagues winning and celebrating is tough
Thank you for stepping up and being on the ballot
Labour GAIN from the Conservatives: Congratulations to Richard Parker for West Mids Mayor 🌹, the new Labour Mayor for West Midlands🌹
🎉Congratulations to re-elected & newly elected Labour councillors, especially Ginnie Lambert who replaces me in Bargate.
Gutting to see 2 colleagues lose their seats. I’ve been there & know their commitment will see them back.
Next, The Labour Party has a General Election to win! 🌹
🗳️ Our teams are out across Southampton today reminding people it’s their chance to vote! Great to join friends in Peartree and Thornhill.
⏰ If you haven’t voted yet, pop out and do it anytime before 10pm!
#VoteLabour 🌹
🗳️🌹 #VoteLabour in Southampton tomorrow -a first step towards a Labour government our city & country need.
It’s also a rejection of Tories who shrug their shoulders at public services they’ve broken & who have no local vision or plan, just deceitful leaflets.
Have your say!
Lovely to drop in to Barton Peveril College college today for Q&A with the Politics Society. Brilliant to talk about why I got into politics and take questions from this superb group of students on transport, cost of living, green energy, & sewage dumping.
Thanks for the warm welcome!
We had teams out across Southampton Itchen reminding people about the hardworking The Labour Party council candidates they can vote for on 2nd May.
Even a Tory MP said his party is “no longer focused on public services” running councils, NHS, police & schools into the ground. Enough!
