Time to begin restoring nature across our upland landscapes.

Once you understand that the principal job of the American President is to ensure a steady supply of cheap petrol for the American people, the way America behaves in the world starts to make more sense.

The level of ecological literacy behind Irish nature laws:
1. Sika deer, from far east Asia, and destroying many of our last native woodlands, are a protected species
2. Wild boar, a native species and highly beneficial to ecosystems, are classed as invasive and shot on sight

An encouraging statement

New- the environment secretary Thérèse Coffey has vowed to work with environment groups and protect nature. Very different tone to her predecessor - are we going to see an end to divisive nature policies and language towards the environment NGOs?

The rights and freedoms of unvaccinated people across the world (and especially in Europe) were violated. Hopefully there will be many more lawsuits like this one.

An Environment Agency officer visited 101 cattle farms in North Devon and discovered 87% didn’t comply with environmental regulations and 65% were actively polluting at the time of inspection.

The thing that bothers me about requiring an election at the point of changing a leader, is whether it would basically just encourage parties to stick with terrible, unpopular leaders for fear of being eliminated at an election. And thereby preventing some small improvement.
