The Global Report on #TB was just released by the World Health Organization (WHO) As usual, the data comes late, but confirms that by the end of 2021, we are far from caught up with the impact of #COVID . We need a surge in investment to #endTB by 2030.

📢New World Health Organization (WHO) report on global🌍 fight against #TB

➡️An estimated 10.6 million people fell ill with TB an 2021, an increase of 4.5% from 2020

➡️ 1.6 million people died n 2021 from🫁TB (including 187,000 #HIV positive people)

The The Global Fund and Unitaid have shown that their efforts to combat HIV, TB and malaria are complementary. By investing in health innovation, Unitaid accelerates adoption of the most effective and least expensive solutions, increasing the impact of Global Fund-supported programs.
