Update on Residential Fire: Fire is under control. Crews remain on the scene extinguishing some hot spots. Fire Investigators (FI) are also on scene and will work to determine the origin and cause. No injuries reported at this time.

Update on Residential Fire, Trail End Rd, Harwood: Preliminarily, the home owner/sole occupant has been accounted for and was not home at the time of the fire. There continues to be no report of injuries at this time. Investigation is on-going.

Cedar Rd Residential Fire Update: Fire is under Control. Anne Arundel County Fire Department Fire Investigators on scene working to determine the cause of the fire. Preliminary origin is the attached garage. 3 occupants displaced. 1 adult transported to BWMC stable condition.

Update- Trail End Rd, Harwood Residential Fire: Anne Arundel County Fire Department Fire Investigators determined that there were no occupants home at the time of the fire. Cause of the fire is still under investigation. No injuries reported. Fire Crews are clearing the scene.

We are currently experiencing intermittent technical issues with incoming 911 calls to our operations center. This is not affecting every call but if you dial 911 and are unable to make voice contact with a call-taker, someone will call you back immediately.

Active Incident: Residential Structure Fire - 300 Block of Orchard Rd. In Ferndale. AACoFD crews are on scene with a working house fire. Orchard Road is closed at the 648 side. Use alternate routes. No injuries reported at this time.

Active Fire Incident: Townhome Fire, Brooklyn, Md. AACoFD Fire Units with BCFD Units are on location, avoid the area. Fire is under control. All occupants are out safely. One occupant was rescued by fire personnel from the basement. They were treated on-scene.

Incident 1900 block of Layton Street (Crofton, Md): AACO Fire received a 911 call for a suspicious package in the area. AACo FD units and Annapolis City Bomb Units are on location and have deemed the area safe. Units will be clearing shortly.
