Fun 14-innimg scrimmage between Duke and NC State tonight. Saw a lot to like about both clubs, and got good looks at the exciting newcomers for both. Will have lots of details in upcoming fall reports.

Seeing good FR arms tonight for Duke Baseball & #Pack9 ⚾️. Jacob Halford, Luke Britton dealt for #Pack9 . Andrew Healy, Gabriel Nard showed promise for Duke, but most impressive is LHP James Tallon (pictured): 90-92 with elite spin rates from low slot, good SL. Fanned the side.

#HeatSheet Alert, David Seifert: Nick Conte bumps 97, sits 94-96 in a dominant 1-2-3 inning for Duke Baseball, with a good tight slider at 81. Conte and Adam Boucher (up to 95 with improved secondary stuff) are both key veteran breakout candidates for Duke, both look strong.

I think #Pack9 ⚾️ crushed the transfer market again this year. Carter Trice from ODU is an established star who showed off his RH power with a towering homer on 94 mph heat. And Oregon transfer Rio Britton has worked 2 scoreless: 88-91 with life, good SL. Will be key LHP.

They rake every single year. It's amazing. This year will be no exception.

Watching BP before tonight's Duke vs #Pack9 ⚾️ scrimmage. Two early impressions from #Pack9 : physical, athletic freshman OF Michael Gupton has the look of a future star. Easy carry in BP, great frame. And I'm excited to see what Dom Pilolli can do this year; he looks great
