Who doesn't want to be like Tess?! She's so kind, so smart, and it's people like her that made VICE so special. What has happened at VICE is devastating, largely bc reporting like hers made the site what it was.

Personal struggles with @vice aside, it was by far the only place that allowed me to experience complete agency as a Black writer. I’ll forever be grateful for that. All the naysayers about VICE have no idea what that looks like or what that meant.
