Jeremy Keys, Jan Lammerding Lammerding Lab and colleagues Cornell BME Weill Institute for Cell & Molecular Biology find that rear cortex contraction aids in nuclear transit during confined migration. Highlight: journals.biologists.com/jcs/article/13… Article: journals.biologists.com/jcs/article/13…
Very happy to share our new paper in JCellBiol, "TLNRD1 is a CCM complex component and regulates endothelial barrier integrity", great collaboration with Guillaume Jacquemet, and well done Neil Ball and Sujan Ghimire 🇳🇵🇫🇮 for pushing this to completion Inst of Systems, Molecular & Integrative Biology doi.org/10.1083/jcb.20…
Ball, Sujan Ghimire 🇳🇵🇫🇮, Ben Goult, Guillaume Jacquemet et al. Turun yliopisto - University of Turku show that the actin-bundling protein TLNRD1 is a key player in maintaining the integrity of endothelial cells. By binding to CCM2, TLNRD1 is an integral component of the CCM complex. hubs.la/Q02GX73n0
Delighted to share the updated version of our #CellTracksColab paper published in PLOS Biology journals.plos.org/plosbiology/ar… Fantastic work by Estibaliz Gómez de Mariscal, PhD Hanna Grobe, Joanna Pylvänäinen Laura Xénard, Ricardo Henriques and Jean-Yves Tinevez
Excited to announce…..it’s finally arrived (!!) nature.com/articles/s4155… A big thank-you to my team (particularly Robert Ju), co authors & #FutureFellowship funding from Australian Research Council Importantly- a big shoutout to Daryl JV David Nature Cell Biology for their support. 👇tweetorial 👇
New Paper. What is becoming clear is that because talin is so multifunctional and structurally so plastic even relatively subtle talin mutations (usually classified as non-pathogenic by pathogenicity prediction tools) are sufficient to cause disease. Inst of Systems, Molecular & Integrative Biology
New Paper. Very happy to have been involved with this study by Martin Schwartz's team Yale University published in Science Advances. It provides a direct demonstration that talin 1 stiffness sensing is important for tissue mechanical homeostasis Inst of Systems, Molecular & Integrative Biology science.org/doi/full/10.11…
September issue of JCellBiol also contains our new paper on TLNRD1 (talin rod domain containing 1) protein and its role in the Cerebral Cavernous Malformation complex. rupress.org/jcb/article/22… Guillaume Jacquemet Inst of Systems, Molecular & Integrative Biology School of Biosciences, University of Kent Turun yliopisto - University of Turku
