I'm glad that I don't have to work for Ugandan media houses anymore. Editors are forced to pull down stories considered to be against "company policy." Journalists are threatened. All this for less than $300 USD in salary. Toxic. Shameless lot! #March2Parliament

I hope that one day Ugandans will have the guts to boycott media houses and journalists that continue to mock their suffering. Half-baked journalists earning less than $250 USD do not speak for the rest of Ugandans just because their offices are on a hill. Have some shame!

This is why I tell people everyday, you don’t have to watch news on TV anymore. It’s all PR! The true biggest stories that you need to know will find you online. Ugandan media houses are the most useless in the region.

That “shield of protection” that you think you have from your corrupt employers or positions will not extend to your loved ones or yourself when you leave the job. You will return to the same internet /space you discredited for their fight asking them to seek justice for you!
