The conference was very positive and productive. It was great meeting scholars whose work I follow, as well as scholars whose work I now plan to follow.

Works by Kakali Bhattacharya or Linda Tuhiwai Smith have been important in teaching students decolonizing research methods. Even if we’re from a culture, we often don’t see, or correct, the imperialist research methods we were trained in, b4 we replicate them.
