During the pandemic response, smart investments by our government kept kids and families fed. Now that those investments have been rolled back, that progress is being erased, and we’re seeing the dire need to address the root causes of hunger.

Congress needs to act now. With the Farm Bill set to expire in a matter of weeks, we have a chance to make meaningful investments to SNAP - one of our most powerful anti-hunger tools which helps nearly 40 million Americans buy groceries.

Likewise, we had an opportunity this year to pass an expansion of the Child Tax Credit, a proven lifeline for hard working families trying to make ends meet. But despite overwhelming bipartisan support in the House, election year partisanship in the Senate prevented passage.

So to sum this up, his 13 year old was questioned by the FBI and visited by local law enforcement for threatening a school shooting, and the fathers response was to months later buy him “the” gun that carried out the school shooting!

News -- the father of Colt Gray has just been arrested in connection with the shooting at Apalachee High School. Per GBI, Colin Gray has been charged with four counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of second degree murder and eight counts of cruelty to children.
