CC2023 Congrats to Keletso for winning CC2023. It was so close. Veneesh in 2nd place was only 0.20% behind. I came in 3rd a mere 0.4% behind Veenesh. Poor Anthony in 4th place felt the brunt of a sell-off in Cap Apprec. And Richard in 5th would have won if he held onto his DRD

Karoooooooooooo Lately a lot of strange things have been happening with the share price. Not sure what’s behind it. Beside strange 40% move last week, yesterday the share fell 10% on trade in 9 shares in closing auction. Today in closing auction share was up 16% on 20 shares.

No Xmas cheer for the JSE - in the glow of the S&P’s 25% gain this year & the NASDAQ’s 54% rise, the JSE closed flat (-6% in $) with stalwarts: Naspers -8% Prosus -13% Richmont -18% British Am Tobacco -21% Anglos -32% Amplats -37% Harmony & Goldfields saved some blushes.

I’ve been in the US for past 3 weeks without my laptop. So liberating. But I’ve been using the Yahoo Finance app. I’ve loaded up watchlists and follow the news. It’s superb. Gives you everything you need in the simplest of formats. And free. I’m a convert.
