The scale of the far-right riots of the last few days have been shocking, but not surprising. British politics is saturated with anti-migrant, anti-asylum seeker politics, while Islamophobia still runs deep.

Giving thanks for another year resisting this Babylon system ✊🏽🕊️

It was beautiful to see the community come out, and resists facism and racism. But we can't just go back to "normal" and think it ends there. They're still out there, blended back into society and the institutions. We need to not only challenge them, but challenge the ideology.

The massacres continue in Gaza as we mobilise against the far right in the UK. If we are failing to connect the struggles as we organise here, we will fail in everything. The rise of fascism is directly related to the occupation and genocide in Palestine.
