Day 2: 20th/Sept/2022 - Kabale to Kigali (107km)

Woke up to a very beautiful but cold morning in Kabale. Took a walk around the town. Interestingly, I started my digital security journey from here in 2016. I left Kabale at 5pm and 35 minutes later I was at Katuna border.

On 19th/Sept/2022, after days of planning, I set off on a solo road trip to Lusaka, Zambia to attend #FIFAfrica22 . Sponsored by CIPESA, it was aimed at digital security & internet freedom awareness. 10,000km, 8 countries, & 30 days later, here’s a 🧵 of the adventurous trip ☺️

Today Gole Andrew arrived back home to Uganda after successfullly covering almost 10,600 kilometers travelling across 8 countries (Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Zambia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Malawi & Kenya) over the last 30 days. It was in part to raise awareness on #digitalSecurity
