It's gratifying to see issues raised by teachers turned into board priorities and then actioned. I'm proud of the work that everyone did to make this program a reality and happy to see so many kids benefit from it. (Each class in the school has done 3 Thrive Days this year.)

I'm happy to see these amendments being made, but I'm not sure what “contrary to provincial policy' means as a criteria to overrule a municipal decision. It seems vague and broad, and that can be very dangerous.

Today I got a sneak preview of the Calgary Stampede's new Sam Centre. It's basically a Stampede museum and it is beautifully done. The media experience is too notch but my favourite was probably all the old cowboy hats from actual people (like Buckshot!).
