Massive thanks to Dom Nicholls for the brew and chat at The Telegraph offices in London today. I may have said it before, but the Veteran network is strong, supportive and with tentacles(🫣) in all facets of life - and it’s brilliant to know we’re all in it together. #VeteransCan
Been a busy week juggling the pod with Francis Dearnley in the absence of our overlord David Knowles. Only one place to recharge these batteries…and it ain’t the Costa Brava! youtu.be/_kzpHzUJCd4?si…
In June I recorded a special for The Telegraph's 'Ukraine: The Latest' reporting on Ukraine Focus delivering ambulances to the front lines. NASA astronaut Terry Virts heard it and joined them. Thanks Terry and pals. To quote the Bond films: FRANCOPHILE FRANCIS WILL RETURN.
I asked former Republican congressman Adam Kinzinger (Slava Ukraini) 🇺🇸🇺🇦🇮🇱 if he’d serve as Vice President to a Democrat boss. “I’d look myself in the mirror, say some positive words then put on my tri-cornered hat and go out to serve my country again.” Season 8 of The West Wing will be a doozy!
Very proud to have my ‘End of the #Zeitenwende’ report featured on one of my favourite podcasts The Telegraph’s ‘Ukraine: The Latest’ - which anyone interested in #Ukraine should follow. Many thanks to Francis Dearnley Dom Nicholls David Knowles & team open.spotify.com/episode/6jHdcI…
We are deeply saddened by the tragic passing of the Telegraph journalist of 'Ukraine: The Latest' podcast David Knowles. His dedication to reporting the truth about the war in Ukraine and his commitment to telling the stories of those affected by it will never be forgotten.
Dear sweet, young, David - I can’t believe you are gone … You will always hold a special place in my heart. When Dom Nicholls called me this morning with the devastating news I was too stunned to speak. I’m so grateful the universe brought us together over Ukraine & the fast
I was coming back to Kyiv from Munich Security Conference. David Knowles was coming to 🇺🇦 with the The Telegraph’s team ahead of Feb 24. His enthusiastic “Let’s record a podcast on the train!” got us in trouble when a lady yelled at us for speaking “loud English” on the 🚂. RIP.
A lovely message from the folks at Ukrainapodden Much appreciated, guys.
Nice one, Godzifella! kwa66🇨🇦❤🇺🇦🎗

A candle is burning for David at the Journalists’ Altar in St Bride's church on Fleet Street, London. Due to its location, St Bride's Church, Fleet Street has long been associated with journalists and the media profession. It's a beautiful place and open to the public from 8am-5pm.
