500 mb heights are a measure of how warm the air is below, the higher the number (in this case 6000 meters) the hotter the air (Heat Domes) Take a look at how the instance of 500mb heights at or over 6000 meters have spiked in the 2020s. Not coincidence, it’s climate change.

So... I'm not a physicist, but I am a meteorologist. After watching Corey LaJoie's blowover, I went to check out the nearest National Weather Service ASOS weather station (which is at Lenawee County Airport). Winds were blowing from the north at 15 mph consistently with gusts up to 29 mph. #NASCAR

Have you ever heard someone say that 1°C of warming equals 7% more atmospheric water vapor? Are you seeing news stories about floods almost every day? Have you been flooded out? You can see what's going on right here, with the huge gain in "total column precipitable water":

Incredible footage of a fire whirl on the Warner Peak Fire in Oregon, captured by the UAS module working on the fire. #wildfire #orfire #orex The drone’s IR camera captured the event, and you can see the rate of spread increase drastically as the whirl develops. Amazing
