Storms Tuesday afternoon/evening and again late Wednesday will have the potential to produce damaging winds, large hail and an isolated tornado, especially along and west of I-77. Make sure you have a way to receive alerts as we're likely to see some come down during those times.

Should see another uptick in showers/storms this evening, initially along and west of the Ohio River through sundown. Late evening that will shift into the Kanawha Valley before fading overnight. Locally heavy rain/lighting with this activity. Fog overnight.

Tuesday will likely feature more sunshine and warmer temps but that will allow for some stronger storms later in the day moving in from west to east. Hail/high winds are possible, especially along and west of I-77. Some localized high water possible as well.

Might be a shower west of Huntington at dawn Monday but most of us should start off dry before scattered showers/storms increase later in the day. Some brief locally heavy rain possible but not expecting severe weather in part thanks to more clouds.

Close call for Charleston but a quick shower seems likely just after 5 p.m. Could be a short rain delay for the Dirty Birds game but this will pass and skies will clear again behind it. Best shower/storm chance will be across the northern/western part of Kanawha Co.

Scattered showers/storms moving into the Tri-State and heading east-northeast around 20 mph. That would time the activity into the Kanawha Valley between 5-6 p.m.

Pretty widespread downpours/thunder likely Saturday, even in the morning. Some spots can see over 1' of rain...others might get about a quarter inch. Have a backup plan ready. Cinco De Mayo Sunday looks much better with more widely scattered showers but more sun, dry time.

We got a break in the rain over the last week but that's changing for this weekend, next week and even Mother's Day weekend. We'll be putting the rain gear to use frequently during that time.

Most of us can expect some light rain this evening, although some heavier rain/lightning is near US 19 and heading northeast up I-79 (Clay/Braxton Cos.) Should get the Dirty Birds game in but expected some raindrops at times so bring a poncho!

Tracking some mainly light rain across the Tri-State heading east toward the Kanawha Valley. Heavier rain/lightning along US 19 lifting north. That's where the heavier activity will be into the evening...near and east of US 19.

Rain totals over the last 7 days have been mostly out west and generally light, but we could see a general half to 1' and locally more this weekend with continued rain chances into most of next week!

Not the best weekend ahead with slow-moving scattered downpours/thunder around at times, especially Saturday. Still will have some dry hours too if you're outside of those and temps will be in the 70s to 80 during the day and 60 at night.

A mild start to Friday with only an isolated shower in the Tri-State...but overall still pretty dry through mid-afternoon before scattered showers/storms increase into the evening. Could have some rain delays for a few ballgames in the evening depending on where they track.

A great evening to enjoy with temperatures falling into the 70s. Increasing clouds overnight as we bottom out near 60. Take advantage...there will be at least *chances* for rain from later Friday into next week.
