Poverty is corrosive to humanity, strips away dignity and smothers hope. I am proud Scottish Government policies, including Scottish Child Payment, are estimated to be keeping 100k children out of poverty this year. But more could be done if Labour made key welfare changes at Westminster.

Today I asked the new Scottish Secretary if he still agreed with the SNP that leaving the EU Single Market had been bad for the economy (as most economists believe) or agreed with the Tories and Reform that it had been good. His response was pretty surprising #BrexitChaos
