Thousands more taxpayers moved to Scotland than left each year in the period after Scottish Income Tax was brought in, an HMRC study has found.

Average net migration from within the UK was 4,200 every year from 2017-18 to 2021-22.

There have been differences in income tax between Scotland and rUK for 7 years. Labour voted in favour of them in 2021, 2022 & 2023. Their apparent new policy of no difference would mean cuts of around £1.5 billion. The biggest failure of economic policy is Labour backed Brexit.
