On #InternationalPeaceDay2022 , DRC together with different cultural groups in Bentiu, South Sudan held peace marches in the ID camps followed by performances to commemorate the day. The peace events are aimed at promoting social cohesion and peaceful coexistence between people.

DanishRefugeeCouncil supported 12 refugee & host community leaders from Kakuma to attend commemoration of Lokiriama Peace Accord.The event brought together delegates from Uganda, Ethiopia, South Sudan & Kenya & marked 49 years since the communities agreed to end armed violence.
