I’m grateful to have met him during an American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) recognition dinner last fall. May he rest in power!

Having many #screening options for #colorectalcancer is👌🏾 and will allow us to screen more people.

But users must be aware that these options use fundamentally different strategies: some find both cancers & precancerous polyps while others only find cancers.

Thank U STAT for the opportunity to write this opinion piece on blood-based colorectal cancer screening. So much potential but we must also be aware of unintended consequences. There are massive benefits of tests that both prevent & detect #colorectalcancer .
