I don’t know who needs to hear this but (clearly some of you do):

Mental Illness does NOT cause anti-semitism.

Anti-semitism is a product of HATE and FEAR, and nothing else
should be blamed.

needs to be boycotted NOW.

Stop gaslighting yourself into the narrative you’re lazy when you’re actually exhausted AF from:

•faking well
•ReParenting your inner child
•trying to fit into an ableist society
•doing trauma-healing work
•just surviving dark times
•having to live w/ chronic pain

•Masking your symptoms
•Fighting off stigma

Depression is NOT a choice

so NO ONE in the history of
healing from depression has healed from being told

“Just choose happiness”

In fact, that kind of verbiage is shaming, and can fuel thoughts of worthlessness, guilt, failure-ship, and punishment.

Just like it’s okay to not be okay, it’s also OKAY to be okay, without the guilt. If you’re able to find pockets of joy, and meaning-making moments, please don’t shame yourself. Nothing is ever black and white. Our psyches can hold space for joy even in the midst of tough times.

The pain born from mental health challenges is real, visceral, profound.

Let’s not add to the pain by using slurs or stereotypes, blame, shame, or guilt.

Let’s not pile suffering on top of the pain, and instead BE a society that endorses healing and radical NON-pathology.
