Joy. Refugees are a massive investment in our future. Unlike the rest of us, they chose to be here. They bring hope, whereas their bullies, the far right, bring fear.

More than 600,000 children are sheltering in tents in Rafah right now as they are getting intensely bombed - nowhere else left to go.

This bear thing has shattered the narrative that women expect men to protect them.

Men cling to this as THE reason that women need them: all their negative shit is balanced by that one time they think they'll protect us.

But we just collectively announced this isn't the case.

Gaza is barely 25 miles long
And 3.7 to 7.5 miles wide
2 million people, 40,000 bombs
And no place to hide

It is very telling that we have had yet another poll showing that housing is the number one priority for Irish voters, yet once again so much of the media coverage has instead been about immigration.

The symbolism is striking, given the cultural destruction of Gaza. For those outraged, you might reflect on what it feels like to have your museums and libraries blown to pieces.
