We were able to serve the Latinx community of Butner on this gorgeous Sunday with health screenings & education. ¡Muchas gracias a la Iglesia Catolica St. Bernadette for hosting us!

We’ve hit a new distance milestone. Today was DAY 1 of providing FREE eye care to Pasquotank County Schools. We served over 40 students today and looking forward to more tomorrow! Thankful for a community partner who believes in taking care of the rural areas!

DAY 2 proved to be just as amazing as the 1st. We are heading back home to Durham after serving over 100 children. 95% of the students we saw needed glasses, meaning almost ALL of these kids have not been able to see clearly. We loved our time and hope to be back soon!

Exciting collaboration w/ student-led team from UNC-CH Adams School Of Dentistry bringing a Pediatric Dental Outreach Clinic to Oxford Manor. Students provided dental screenings, education & dental hygiene supplies. Real world clinical experience for students while helping communities. We 💗it!

We loved being a part of the Orange County Health CHA meeting today! Bringing community members/partners together to strategize and provide input is an excellent way to better population health and health outcomes.

We had a blast with NBA’s Trey Murphy at a Back to School event w/ Durham Parks & Recreation providing free vision screenings & prescription glasses. He’s a Durham native & has a 💜 for Durham children, which we love b/c we do too! Shout out to our student learners from UNC. Ya’ll rock!
