Outcome from mucormycosis varies by drug therapy & surgery. Just out in OFID: shorturl.at/kmRZ3. AmB alone =31.5% mortality. Posaconazole alone = 17.2%. AmB + posaconazole or isavuconazole = 6.6% mortality. Should dual combination Rx be routine? Only retrospective data.
