Wondering if there is a classification/ordering of the topological spaces as it does exist for groups. Maybe they are simply the same category of objects?

And the 'iso-morphisms' can be seen as 'shape transformations' that do not _do_ much on your space. They simply say that two spaces are the same, without giving any information on your objects.

A topological space is a space where the 'opens' (i.e. the subsets forming the 'space'/the 'shape of the space') are _continuous_. And it is defined recursively. First, the empty set and the whole set must be included.
