Breaking: The RCN didn't secure a mandate for national strike action. The turnout "was disappointing", the junior doctors strikes are still going ahead as planned. One wonders whether the increased pay & uplift swayed the electorate.

If you were a nurse who didn't return your ballot, reply with why? Danger with these results is people can make them fit different narratives - nurses apathy, nurses were actually happy with their pay so didn't vote, nurses didn't back strikes, ballot lost in the post etc.
