Stef I think you’re wrong. I just think Bogarde was far too confident tonight playing a lower league side. When he plays prem teams he had more respect. It was a reality check for him that you need to keep that respect no matter what side you play. Swinkels was very good though

tryhardbrumski Nah. Swinkels needs to get out and play senior football to kick his career on again. Bogarde needs to rub his greenness off playing senior football too. Bogarde will prove useful as the season progresses I think.

Was meh against Leicester, looked leggy towards the end. Was poor against Everton and Wolves, and wasn’t great again tonight (Swinkels looked better). Think he needs a loan deal to a good Championship side to develop him a bit more 🤷‍♂️

Dan Colquhoun He definitely looked less comfortable with nervous kosta and way below the level Swinkels but surely you can see why. I don’t think he’s been terrible in the league especially when he is out of position… CDM.

Dan Colquhoun He had wobbles. But Swinkels is fundamentally not good enough on multiple levels, sadly. Think you’ll find Bogarde was often having to make up for his lacking also. On top of it not being his position. The fundamentals are there for him even if it wasn’t perfect display.
