Our school attendance strategy led to 375,000 more children being in school almost every day last year and has been recognised by the OECD ➡️ Better Policies for Better Lives 👇

So I’m pleased our plan is working 👇

Important discussion this morning with leading universities, Union of Jewish Students and Universities UK about what more we can do together to take a zero-tolerance approach to antisemitism on campuses 👇🏻
A constructive meeting with Vice Chancellors at UK Prime Minister this morning.
I was pleased to hear of steps being taken to tackle antisemitism on campuses, and we will continue to work with universities to crack down on this unacceptable behaviour.
We welcome and are thankful for the announcement from UK Prime Minister on awarding funding to supporting Jewish student welfare in light of the immense increase in antisemitism on UK campuses.

Debate is a vital part of university life, but we won't tolerate harassment or antisemitic abuse on our campuses.
Today we've announced £500,000 for the University University Jewish Chaplaincy Service who provide support for Jewish students across England.

Freedom of speech and expression is vital to academic communities.
But it must not be used to harass and intimidate Jewish students.
