1/ Did you know @Ensembl has a lot of Plant comparative genomics data available? Let's look at how to retrieve the orthologues of a gene by using BioMart. Comparative genomics data are available in BioMart for many of your favourite species (inc. many vertebrates, Fungi, Metazoa)

Scientists in the Hackett group EMBL Rome found that disrupting the gut microbiome of male mice increases the risk of disease in their offspring.

The findings suggest that a father’s pre-conception environment can have lifelong effects on his offspring.

The new EMDB - EMPIAR @EBI cryo-electron tomography (cryo-ET) browser allows you to see proteins up close in the cellular environment.

Over 1,800 high-resolution reconstructed tomograms from cryo-plasma-FIB milled Chlamydomonas reinhardtii cells are available.
