You can start by learning that 'AI' is first & foremost a marketing term used to mystify & oversell a vast array of data-centric techniques that generally require resources only a few companies have & are frequently protected from validation & scrutiny by trade secrecy

I say the other way around.
To those who preach that 'AI' is a magical thing that saves us, please learn something about the way in which many groups of ppl have been marginalized by this tech. And read critical scholars, mostly Black women in other disciplines (not the AI bros)

Interesting how the term 'foundation model' is becoming a shibboleth. I get the sense that I can make a lot of inferences about someone's stance towards so-called 'AI' based on whether (& how) they use it.
