Our Director, Mary Colwell started World Curlew Day back in 2017 to celebrate Curlews around the world.

Sadly a curlew has been found dead in Bannau Brycheiniog near one of our breeding territories. Currently in my fridge (well sealed) and will be frozen so it can be sent off for analysis to look at potential causes of death although I have my suspects (not human)…

Tomorrow we head from #BannauBrycheiniog to Llangollen to hear more about #Curlews . Clwydian Range and Dee Valley National Landscape giving it laldy as part of #CurlewConnectionsWales with both Mary Colwell and Dr. Rachel C. Taylor is taking commissions speaking amongst others. Excited much!
