In Italy for , today finally eye to eye with ivory showing (in lower section) emperor Otto II & empress Theophano, with small Otto III in her lap. Made in Milan in 983 AD & housed in Castello Sforzescho. Dream of having this come to Rijksmuseum van Oudheden Leiden in 2023 🤩
