Always great to see parliamentary candidates, of any party, make the case for homes & for beautiful #GentleDensity as a key way to create homes for people, prosperity & planet !
π Housing is the single biggest policy challenge, especially in London.
We need more Conservative candidates with the conviction and courage to speak up on this.

Perhaps Tom Harris π¬π§ should look at some stats:
1. The average house price in the 80s was 3x the average salary - it's now 9x.
2. Rent now takes up 46% of household income in London - up from 15% in the 80s.
3. The last time house prices were this expensive vs earnings was 1876
