For transparency and equity, I think programs should be obliged to publish their selection filters BEFORE applicants apply for #Match2024. Understandably, PDs wont agree. Eliminates💰 & ⏰ applicants would otherwise spend on programs that won’t even look at their application.

I'm giving away my ring light and mic from the last match cycle. If you need them & can't afford to buy your own (totally understandable), please reach out to me on X. I'll be happy to get it delivered to your place in Pakistan. #Match2024 #MedTwitter #PathTwitter

Dear MS3s and people who are already out of med school, I beg of you, please do not post your headshots for next year or match stories from previous matches. Remember what it felt like to open your emails and let #Match2024 have this week. They’ve all worked so hard for this.

CW: suicide Match day is on Friday. Every year I remember a classmate who died soon after not matching. Your life is worth so much more than medicine. Please: reach out to your colleagues. Check on them frequently. Medicine is not your life. Mentors, check in w mentees.

The amount of #IMG who have not seen their family in years in the below thread is truly depressing. This process will isolate you from many of your loved ones. For all who are starting in July, spend quality time with your family. May not see them for years on end.

1. Introducing a new thread: super basic lung pathology for PGY1s, with arrows. If you are a PGY1, leave a comment and I will tag you in a future post. A hamartoma is a disorganized mix of overgrown normal tissues (in their normal location) that creates a mass. Good news: they
