Our #CrateEscape campaign urges Defra UK to ban pig farrowing crates, which confine 60% of sows in the UK, preventing them from moving or even turning around for up to 5 weeks. While some countries have already banned these cruel cages, they remain legal in the UK.

Farmed fish are let down every day by laws which protect terrestrial farmed animals and ignore their welfare needs - despite their legal recognition as sentient animals by the #SentienceAct. We're calling for farmed fish protections to be implemented as soon as possible.
