I’d never buy my kid (or anyone else) a gun, but recognize that culture is different in rural areas and don’t begrudge a dad buying his 14yo a hunting rifle. I can’t understand buying him a gun *designed to kill people* though, even if he hadn’t threatened to shoot up the school.
