For too long, too many New Yorkers facing mental health challenges have cycled through the criminal justice system without getting the support they need.

By investing in this critical work, we’re making communities safer.

On this #DenimDay , I am proud of actions we’ve taken, including the Adult Survivors Act, to support survivors & make sure their voices can be heard.

We will continue to work to eradicate these heinous crimes once & for all.

Our budget protects public safety and ensures New Yorkers suffering from mental illness get the support they need.
