My weekend in polyamory: - had friends stay the weekend who were in Seattle for the Metallica concert. One partner hung out with us while the other one went to the concert with their friend - had a stereotypical summer day and got ice cream and went to the beach + epic game night

Who are some of your favorite people to learn from and why?

Whenever you decide to do anything, be anything, announce anything there will always be people who - cheer you on - are totally inspired/join in - do not care - think you’re the worst Do things for you because this is your life and keep going.

Even if you didn’t do a single thing for the rest of your life you would still be worthy of love.

My friend (who is a cis man) and I were chatting yesterday about me recently coming out as a lesbian from being pansexual and he said “do you think your sexuality changed or do you think you’ve just raised your bar so much that cis men just aren’t an option anymore?”

Anyway small reminder.

Just because we’re polyamorous doesn’t mean we’re beyond our own humanity.

If someone is asking you to overextend yourself and then blaming you or trying to make you feel like you’re the problem… you’re not the problem.

There are a lot of places that try and reflect back to us the parts of us that we most fear. Remember to seek out spaces that reflect back to you how beautiful of a being you are.

How satisfying would it be to have an entire day just deleting files, pics, videos, apps and contacts off of your phone?

Any other entrepreneurs or business owners with high anxiety? How do you cope?

Give yourself a break. No one is doing everything perfectly. To put yourself inside of unrealistic expectations is to rob yourself of the compassion for being human.
