A guide through the geopolitics of the 1600s. Civil war, regicide, coups, religious conflict and Pepys drinking too much at the coronation. This book was great fun to read. 5/5 Stars #History #historybook #bookreviews #17thcentury #devil-land

Architect Albert Nelson Bromley built this beautiful store in Nottingham between 1902 and 1905. ✨ It might be the first use of an Art Nouveau design on a shop front in England. Several original cast-iron columns and capitals can still be seen in the Grade II* listed building.

Nice to see Simon Russell Beale in Firebrand. Was reminiscent of his portrayal of Beria in The Death of Stalin. Chief inquisitor esq.
